“Lighting the way towards hope …
…Guiding those in need toward a brighter tomorrow.”
Light Work Ministries began in Northeast Georgia with the purposeful aim of utilizing our diverse talents to go and make disciples as instructed in Matthew 28:18-20, while also striving to create a positive impact within our local community.
We are proudly recognized as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Since our dedicated volunteers and our Executive Director commit their time to full-time careers, we greatly rely on the generosity of donations and the support of monthly giving to sustain and further our mission.
Light Work’s mission is to mentor, disciple, and equip at-risk youth to break cycles of recidivism and hopelessness, raising up the future leaders our communities need.

GET INVOLVED
Every week, our team shows up inside detention centers and out in the community with consistent presence, positive reinforcement, and biblical truth.
For Donors & Supporters:
Light Work is building a sustainable solution to recidivism. We mentor at-risk youth inside detention centers and in the community, providing meals, positive reinforcement, and life skills rooted in biblical truth. Every dollar given fuels real impact—meals shared, mentors trained, and lives redirected.
For Volunteers:
Light Work gives you the chance to make a real difference—just one hour a week can change a life. We serve inside youth detention centers and through outside programs like open gym nights, sharing meals, mentoring, and having fun with the kids. It’s simple but powerful: consistent presence, biblical truth, and real love.
For Church & Community Partners:
Light Work exists to help churches take ministry beyond their walls. We disciple, mentor, and equip at-risk youth in detention centers, foster homes, and alternative schools—meeting them right where they are. We’ve laid the groundwork and can train your members to do the same in your community.
Together, we can answer the Great Commission, raise up future leaders, and bring light into some of the darkest places.
Join us in bringing light into dark places. Together, we can break cycles, build leaders, and transform communities.
One Mission, Three Ministries
Light Work Ministries achieves its mission of equipping and elevating the next generation in the way of Jesus through three separate, but unified ministries.

Eleos Employment
[Launching Summer 2026]
The Greek word “eleos” means mercy or compassion. It’s a word that’s used to describe both human and divine kindness towards those in need. Our employment resource ministry exists to provide convicted felons with a path to meaningful employment, leadership development, and career growth. By purchasing and operating service-based businesses, we create job opportunities and equip individuals with the skills necessary to transition into management and leadership roles.
Through discipleship, mentoring, hands-on training, and structured business operations, we aim to restore dignity, build confidence, and reduce recidivism by offering a path forward.
